Given the uselessness of testing, absolute answers to your questions are unknowable. That said, if we're talking about assumptions, I think it's safer (for everyone) to assume that Zonolite does contain asbestos. Likewise, it's *unlikely* that an attic can be insulated with Zonolite and not be contaminated.
