We recently purchased a second-hand LG DLEX4270 dryer complete with pedestal, thinking we were getting a sweet bargain on a fancy machine. Then we discovered that the lint filter was almost comically mis-designed, although the results sure weren't funny. It didn't fit the housing, causing it to protrude and catch and twist laundry. It also is far too narrow to make any kind of seal with the housing, which was completely open on the bottom and in the back. With no screen to filter the air...
