I replaced a couple of Kohler valvet stems with ceramic replacements. They are ¼ turn ceramic and work far better than the original washer and seat contraption. Customer service was not of much help but I found that a GP330002 stem will work in all my Kohler bath fixtures and fit existing bonnets.
