We have a two faucet setup in our bath/shower. We just had it replaced with a newer Moen unit. After the install I went to take a bath and noticed we still had water coming from the shower head. I just replaced the Tup Spout diverted with Menards brand and now have more water coming from shower head, put the initial Moen back on and it still has a substantial amount of water coming from shower head when it the Diverter is to be shutting it off.
