I prolly wouldn't demonstrate this but one could drive a ground rod into one's yard and connect a 120v lead to it and touch it w/o being shocked. But if barefooted one might be able to move far enough away from it to develop a step voltage and get a tingle. However one's arm prolly isn't long enough for that to occur.
