Total crap houses; that's all I've been inspecting lately. All the good stuff seems to be gone, and people are able to sell crap for top dollar 'cause there ain't nuthin' else out there for sale! Yesterday, started out with client telling me house had been on market for 90+ days. Knew what was coming, and I could have taught an inspection class at the house. 2-2.5 hr job turned into 4.75 hr job, with double typical report prep time. I've been quoting a LOT more lately for many jobs after I first view on-line. Still don't feel like I've charged enough after some of 'em. (My daughter is being screwed by this; she has to move, and there ain't hardly nuthin' for sale, and the house she's under contract for is being sold by a seller who knows all this - and he hold's the power.) This is the case by you?
