Years ago my wife used texture paint for a bath by adding vermiculite. She asked the guy in the paint department for sand paint and he sold her a gallon of paint and gave her some vermiculite in a paper bag (so they either had it in bulk or from a broken bag). I am painting a panel of drywall that was previously hidden behind a panel of redwood. My question is whether NK Lawn & Garden Professional Grade Vermiculite 8 qt in the garden dept. is fine enough grain for my purpose...
