I had to look up the current population of Canada, 37,740,000 and growing, but less than 1/2 of a %, or 0.5% of the world population. 30,680,000 Canadians have received 1, 2 or 3 doses of vaccine, and 9,000 ended up in hospital so far, 0.03% of vaxxed, partly and recently vaxxed Canadians. Of the 7 million citizens not vaccinated, 39,000 ended up in hospital, or 0.6%. To be fair, let's take away hospitalizations from before vaccines were widely available in May and June. Call it 10,000 since June and the Calgary Stampede, divide by 7 mill = 0.14%. Deaths are between 1 and 2% of hospitalizations. There shouldn't be any more deaths. Vaccines help patients recover because they will have at least some antibodies in their systems.
