It is a chance for all citizens of all countries to join in a fight against an invader, and what do we do? Protest, it's not fair! Neither was the Battle of Britain, but citizens of the Western countries and their allies did what they could. Nobody said they have a cure, but there are vaccines. There are no guarantees with any vaccines, but far fewer vaccinated people have had problems, and those that did had underlying health issues About 9,000 vaccinated and partially vaccinated Canadians still ended up too sick to stay home. In 11 months in Canada 39,000 unvaccinated people ended up in hospital. So of a total of 48,000 hospitalized, 12.9% were 1/2 vaccinated or became sick in the 2 weeks after the shot. Another 6% were fully vaccinated and still got sick. We need more effective vaccines, but these we have kept thousands of citizens out of the hospital. If most adults were vaccinated, the virus would not be spreading as quickly as it is. Then we could probably control the spread in schools, and most kids are resilient enough that they could recover at home with their vaccinated parents. As it is, parents are facing the choice of vaccinating their 5 year old kids, while adults march and cry freedom, it's ludicrous but true. Let's turn this thing around, get the shot and do your part.
